1980年にアメリカのニュージャージー州で結成されたスラッシュメタルバンド
ザクザクしたリフ,ハイトーンVoのスピード感あふれるサウンドが特徴。

スラッシュ東海岸勢としてAnthlaxと並び称されることが多いのは,
結成後の拠点がニューヨーク州ブロンクスのため,レーベルが同じメガフォースだったため,前身バンドであるLUBRICUNTS時代にアンスラックス黄金期ギタリストのダン・スピッツ（現在は時計職人）が在籍していたためと思われる。
