Shadows Fall/シャドウズ・フォール
アメリカ合衆国マサチューセッツ州スプリングフィールド出身1995年結成のヘヴィメタルバンドである。
ギターソロに重点をおいたヘヴィメタルバンドを目指し結成された。
初期メロディック・デスメタルやスラッシュの要素をサウンドをハードコア的なアプローチで展開するサウンドが後にメタルコアというジャンルの代表格バンドとなった。

スラッシュ的リフ,叙情的なソロやギターフレーズをふんだんに盛り込まれたヘヴィメタルバンド。
Voに現在All That Remainsのフィル・ラボンテが在籍していた(1997–1998)。
1996年に現killswich engageのアダム・デュトキエヴィッチ(G)も在籍していたが当時はドラムとして参加していた。
2014年から活動休止中。
聴いて感じるのは声や音楽性がTriviumを彷彿させます。
